About BOI’s Senior Leaders

Our BOI Senior Leaders Alliance is made up of the top men and women from companies already involved in our BOI Manufacturing and Pharmacy 360 Alliances. These are the Plant Managers and top leaders from the company – not necessarily the owners, but the folks who are the “boots on the ground,” seeing that the day-to-day work is done efficiently and correctly, always looking for ways to improve the company.

TIME MANAGEMENT

Leaders have to develop their time management skills. We will have discussions around Stephen Covey’s “7 Habits of Highly Effective People.” And bring in a speaker now and then perhaps from Dale Carnegie or a Covey Implementer.

PEOPLE SKILLS

Our facilitator, Laurie Taylor, is experienced to teach on many topics such as Communication Strategies, Recruiting, Employee Reviews, Influencing others, Managing Conflict, Customer Service. We also have other great contacts in this area who we can bring in as presenters.

VISION/CULTURE

Members will discuss and share their culture and the vision of their organization and gain new ideas from others. Defining and building your culture is essential to the success of an organization and it starts from the top leadership on down.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

We will look for common challenges we are facing in operations and ask members to share best practices as part of the session.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Discussion and ideas on how to make a difference in the consumer, the community, your employees…good leaders impact the world around them in a positive way.

Meetings are spent discussing what is most important to its members.

This group focuses primarily on people skills and leadership strategies, although there is also lots of time for open discussion and member presentations. Each organization is allowed to send two Managers to the meeting for the price of one.

Our facilitator is Troy LaCrone, assisted by David Chionio.
